Event Location: Hyde Creek Recreation Centre
1379 Laurier Avenue [map + directions]
The Terry Fox Run is a non-competitive event where people get together as individuals, families, and groups to raise money for cancer research in Terry's name. It is a day of celebrating Terry's legacy and helping to keep alive his dream of finding a cure for cancer.
Come run, walk, skateboard, ride your bike, rollerblade, walk on your hands or just about anything else during the event on this wheelchair accessible route! The idea is to have FUN while raising funds for cancer research.
There is a 2.5km, 6km, and 10km route all starting from the Hyde Creek Centre at 1379 Laurier Ave. For a complete map of the route, click here. There will be live music at the start/finish area to keep the energy high! Be sure to visit the Hometown Run's website to keep up-to-date on all the events.
