The City of Port Coquitlam wants to be a leader in protecting the environment, and is now developing an Environmental Strategic Plan that will guide our decisions and our actions in achieving this goal.
This new strategic plan will consider current and future environmental trends, new legislation, best practices in environmental management from other municipalities, financial considerations, and coordination of City efforts with those of the public and other stakeholders. The goal is effective management of local environmental priorities, including corporate environmental impact.
